How can girls who have survived human trafficking rebuild their lives, find careers, go to college, and reconnect with the community?

Traffickers keep victims purposely isolated from the community.

In fact, it’s one of the control techniques they use to make sure survivors aren’t able to get free.

But when a survivor gets recovered, it’s critical they not only get the healing they need but that they reconnect with the community.

This is all done through safe and reliable transportation.

A transport van means the survivors will get plugged into a career, college, and reconnect with the community – and it’s the single greatest need that survivors we are serving have right now.

My trafficker told me I was too stupid to ever think about going to college. After hearing it for so long I sort of started believing it.

Sharron, Teen Trafficking Survivor

A 6-year ASU Study found that child victims of trafficking will be trapped in this life for an average of 154 days.

That’s a long time to be isolated from the community.  Not only does the sex trafficking hurt these girls, but the effects of that isolation are also intensely traumatic.

But a huge part of recovery is getting the girls and young women plugged back into the community. Sometimes this means going to high school or to college. Sometimes this means going to specialized medical appointments. And sometimes it’s as simple as going swimming or shopping.

Right now we have 3 vans that bear all the transportation needs for the 140+ girls and young women we serve each year.

And, the program is set to expand by 40 more girls and young women by the end of the year.

These new girls and young women need to reconnect with the community.

But the 3 vans we have now will NOT be able to meet all the needs.

This is where we need your help…

Can you make a donation today that will help us get a van for the girls?

Your donations to the human trafficking transportation fund will be designated to getting a van or vans to help more than 140 human trafficking survivors each year.

Thank you for helping these girls!
