Family homelessness doesn’t just happen, there are many different factors that cause the situation. But being homeless during the Arizona heat is not just dangerous, but life-threatening.
The good news is that recovery for these families and individuals are happening all over Phoenix!
But no one talks about what happens next.
How do they get a home?
Do they go to a hospital?
How do they get a job again?
Frankly, we don’t talk about it much because it’s not an easy story.
But for those who do get recovered and placement into supportive housing programs the journey of healing begins.
That journey involves addiction recovery often times, counseling, career development, and more.
There’s nothing like getting to see a homeless mom reunited with her daughter after getting her new apartment or a family that walks into their new home after finally receiving the services needed for job placement and career development.
Those stories are happening every day only because of those who support their recovery and DREAMS!
That’s what Night of Dreams at the Camby is all about!
We’ll be joining together to take a STAND for the most vulnerable in our community as we expand community outreach services and residential recovery programs for life recovery!
